Is the Tiger Woods story getting too much attention? Yes. Whatever happened to Darfur, to name just one issue that’s a gazillion times more important? Of course, a Swedish blonde chasing a Tiger with a golf club is a more sexy story than a little genocide thousand of miles away, hence the disproportionate attention. If I ran a media operation, I’d probably run the Woods story to death, too. Hopefully, though, I’d find a way to sexify Congo, Darfur, and heavy metals in our drinking water.
J-Lo in a home video? Good for her. Free publicity.
Gate crashers? Waste of time. Let the White House fix their security, which is what they’re doing. The only story here is that this is a story at all.
